Position Overview
Mable Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Corporate Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our strategic growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and engaging with potential clinic partners across Canada.
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, this is a unique opportunity to gain full-cycle deal experience, take on significant responsibilities, and be rewarded for your performance in a fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify & Research: Identify potential acquisition targets and partnerships within the orthotics, prosthetics, and aids to daily living sectors.
Relationship Cultivation: Engage with owner-operators and industry leaders at key events, meetings, and conferences to foster strategic partnerships.
Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and report on a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities across various deal stages.
Deal Execution: Due Diligence & Integration
Project Management: Facilitate due diligence and integration processes, coordinating across QoE, Finance, and Tax teams to ensure smooth transitions and seamless deal closings.
Financial & Market Evaluation Summaries: Conduct detailed financial assessments and findings analyses, including technical, regulatory, and competitive reviews, to drive informed strategic decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to facilitate acquisition discussions and ensure a smooth integration process for new partners.
Qualifications & Experience
Education Experience: Bachelor of Commerce or Business is required, and additional education and certificates (MBA/CPA/CFA) are considered an asset but not required.
2-4 Years of Industry Experience: Background in Corporate Development, Business Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting; experience in healthcare services is preferred.
Roll-Up Experience: Prior involvement in consolidations or acquisitions is a strong asset.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis.
Language: French-speaking is considered an asset but not required.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Ability and Willingness to Travel: As a national company, we are expanding across Canada, and this role requires travel.
